Damon was elected to the 12th District in November 2022. He has now completed almost a year in office and wasted no time becoming active in advancing legislation. Governor Newsom has signed 5 of his bills. Damon participates actively in a number of important committees, among them, Wildfire Prevention, Climate Change Policy, Resource, Energy, and Transportation issues related to Climate Crisis, and Environmental Safety and Toxic Materials.

In his previous position as Marin County Supervisor for District 1 (San Rafael), Damon championed preservation of open space and expanding clean energy options. He has been a regular at MCL and we are thrilled to welcome him back to share updates on his work and goings on at the legislative level. We encourage you to bring your questions and join us.
