The 2023 MCL Annual Dinner & Meeting was held on April 21, 2023 at the Key Room in Novato. The Awards for Environmental Achievement were presented to those who have made significant contributions to the environmental community. The keynote speaker for the evening was Armando Quintero, the Director, California State Parks. In his address, Mr. Quintero spoke about the importance of parks and public lands in our communities called “Parks and Public Lands – Redefining Boundaries”. The Annual Meeting was an opportunity for the environmental community to come together and celebrate the work that we are doing to protect and enhance environmental quality in Marin County. We recognized the achievements of our members and elect new leaders to guide our organization in the coming year.
